We're proud to introduce our inaugural line of American made casual wear including gorgeous hand made, heavy duty denim work shirts. These shirts were made by our small team of craftsmen by hand just a few blocks from where we lay our heads down at night and pay homage to Brooklyn's Blue Collar past.
Designed to bridge the past and the present, these shirts feature a vintage 1890's two piece sleeve designed to provide ease of movement while working, a vintage styled arrow front placket front, include heavy duty metal buttons and yellow cashmere side gussets to provide extra strength and durability while moving and utilize some very special limited edition denim to provide protection from the elements and also provide the durable longevity that workers need.
We're also proud to introduce to our line-up our multi-pocket Leonardo Barber Shirt crafted by hand from vintage loomed American Chambray by Ryan Huston. Huston textiles is a small, American made company that focuses on rebuilding vintage looms to craft heavyweight chambray the way it would have been crafted a hundred years ago. The characteristics of these chambrays are unlike anything else on the market today with tons of texture and the natural slubbiness that first makes Yellow Hook stand out. Cut in a more generous pattern these shirts work as either a standalone top, or an over shirt layered over a hoodie or crew neck in cooler weather.
With either the symmetrical Galliano, the utilitarian Tony, the ultra utilitarian Leonardo Barber Shirt or the lightweight Napolitano Model you'll fit right in whether it's the docks, the factory floor, the bar or on the sidelines of your kids soccer game.
Also coming soon will be a line of handmade Japanese Cotton Crew Neck Jumpers and Tee Shirts designed to serve for more casual encounters. We've searched high and low for the right cotton knits and feel we've found just the right one to bring these classic American made and designed casual wear.
Yellow Hook has you covered whether its a formal night out or a lazy Saturday at home, and we're proud to be able to do that keeping ALL of our manufacturing done right here in the United States.
